As a 17 year old who's working on a game that needs pixel art for the game I'm working on but I'm horrible at pixel art can I use it commercially for free then once I make some money I can pay it back and buy the actual commercial product?
Hey, a really cool tool, would be an honor for us if you'd consider joining us as, we're looking for talented indie creators for games, tools, assets, zines, books, ect for a massive a co-op bundle, where we want to include 300 items at least.. If you would like to join us it would be awesome! https://itch.io/jam/ultimate-300-bundle-submissions best regards & peace <3
This is by far best pixelation tool I have found, but It would be nice to see the resolutions of the images in the preview. Or even sets the desired final resolution with tools.
Thanks! The app itself is a python script I converted into packed exe (forgot what I used for packing, I can check after work if you like but i guess its just whatever youll find on google if you search python to exe).
UI is Html wrapped with electron, but if I had to redo it today I'd use C# with Webview instead.

Sure, go ahead. No need to pay back.
I have been looking for something this for a good while now, thank you for this.
Hello can I use the free version and when I'm done with my project buy the commercial version then?
I'm on a very low budget atm.
sure, pay when (if) you can :)
Is there a website version
no, sorry
Is this suitable at all to achieve SNES (Chrono Trigger, trials of mana) inspired pixel art?
hi Dark Ansem,
It has built in SNES palette and with the right settings can produce something similar. But an algorithm will never be as good as a real artist :)
Anyway you can download the free version to play around, only if you want to make something serious and commercial you need the licensed version. GL!

Just curious, what language/IDE did you use to create this app?
