look dude great tool and whatever but this is such a stupid hill to die on we know what the israeli goverment tried to do literally a couple weeks ago (iran) and there has been multiple times of them instigating attacks and pretending to be victims
2. Was iran making nukes? Uranium for peaceful goals takes around 3% enrichment. Iran had 60%. The leap from 60% to 90% (required for nukes) btw is not linear, is a lot faster, so they were pretty close to nukes, even after Israel sabotaged their previous attempts (stuxnet for example) in the past. Iran dont really deny it at this point and just now they kicked out UN watchers. So whether or not they could actually get nukes is unknown, but they were very close and actively trying to, and intel agencies pretty much agree on that.
3. Given 1 and 2, would you, being in Israels shoes, wait to find out? Risk your entire country and millions of people? Imo that would be the immoral thing to do.
The attacks against Iran were among the most precise attacks ever, with mostly military and government targets being hit. Unlike Iran who target civilians, which is why 90% of israeli casualties and damaged buildings were civilians (except for one soldier all israeli victims were civilians, and iirc that soldier was off duty, aka at home, when they were hit).
If you want to discuss this more we can exchange emails I dont want to pollute the comments too much. But ask yourself if you were in israel spot, if you wanted your country to wait and not do anything (mind you after thousands were murdered by iran backed hamas, on top of all) or protect itself.
As a 17 year old who's working on a game that needs pixel art for the game I'm working on but I'm horrible at pixel art can I use it commercially for free then once I make some money I can pay it back and buy the actual commercial product?
Hey, a really cool tool, would be an honor for us if you'd consider joining us as, we're looking for talented indie creators for games, tools, assets, zines, books, ect for a massive a co-op bundle, where we want to include 300 items at least.. If you would like to join us it would be awesome! https://itch.io/jam/ultimate-300-bundle-submissions best regards & peace <3
This is by far best pixelation tool I have found, but It would be nice to see the resolutions of the images in the preview. Or even sets the desired final resolution with tools.
Thanks! The app itself is a python script I converted into packed exe (forgot what I used for packing, I can check after work if you like but i guess its just whatever youll find on google if you search python to exe).
UI is Html wrapped with electron, but if I had to redo it today I'd use C# with Webview instead.
There's an older mac version that is no longer maintained but it's free. I'm on mobile rn but you can search the comments below to find the link i posted somewhere (Google drive link)
amazing software. for the time being I'm just dabbling in pixelart, but if i decide to get serious I'll definitely buy the commercial version. And even if I don't I'll donate something. kudos to the developer!
Hello, i dont have a way to restore old licenses and the old pp account is no more. So you can just use the free version, dont worry about it, and if its important for you to have a license file you can email me at ronenness@gmail.com and ill just give you one that comes with the itchio commercial version. (you don't really need but if you want- no problem just email me).
Hi! Great program which I would love to use, but will there be a macos/linux build, or is demand not high enough so the support won't be provided?
I'm a software dev which would love to use this software for my personal projects, yet I feel like most software devs use linux/macos for development mainly and switching from one system to another just to use one piece of software would be a bit of a chore
hello, there's an old Mac and Linux versions that are no longer maintained and if they work you can use for free. I'm not on my pc right now but you can find the link somewhere in the comments below its a drive link.
Hello, just a quick question: is it possible to pay for the Pixelator license in Brazilian real? I apologize, but I'm not from the United States and don't reside there. I intend to use Pixelator to help create textures and sprites for my commercial games; however, I currently only use the personal version. Can you provide me with some information on this?
Hi no idea what payment methods and currencies itch.io support, it's between you and itch.io they just pass me the money at the end of the transaction.
If you're unable to buy for any reason just use for free (even commercially) its alright.

come on dude seriously??
Hi man, I appreciate the compliment and polite manner you chose to express your opinion, so you deserve a fair reply.
Regarding Iran, ask yourself 3 questions and draw your own conclusions whether or not Israel preemptive strike was justified:
1. Was iran peaceful towards Israel? The answer is no. They have been talking about destroying Israel for over a decade now (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2005/oct/27/israel.iran), they literally had a clock indicating when they will succeed in wiping israel off the map (https://m.economictimes.com/news/international/us/what-is-israel-doomsday-clock-and-is-it-still-running-or-destroyed-heres-when-irans-supreme-leader-ayatollah-ali-khamenei-predicted-israel-would-no-longer-exist/articleshow/122029655.cms) just think about the levels of insanity and depravity of having a doomsday clock against another country you dont even share borsers with. Iran also praised october 7 attack (immediately after), fired thousands of rockets on israel in 2024 in "retaliation" to israel eliminating hamas leader and iranian general that supported them, which bring us to the next point - they actively armed and backed hamas and hezbollah against israel. So no, israel did not start this, iran have been agressors for decades.
2. Was iran making nukes? Uranium for peaceful goals takes around 3% enrichment. Iran had 60%. The leap from 60% to 90% (required for nukes) btw is not linear, is a lot faster, so they were pretty close to nukes, even after Israel sabotaged their previous attempts (stuxnet for example) in the past. what a hilarious hill to die on
Of course people stand with Israel, its common sense to support the good guys.
Great tool, will be purchasing commercial use.
Tool is good.
I cann't help Israel, but, obviously, Israel is better than Palestine or Palestinian terrorists.
I don't stand with Israel at all... But I stand with this tool.

Sure, go ahead. No need to pay back.
I have been looking for something this for a good while now, thank you for this.
Hello can I use the free version and when I'm done with my project buy the commercial version then?
I'm on a very low budget atm.
sure, pay when (if) you can :)
Is there a website version
no, sorry
Is this suitable at all to achieve SNES (Chrono Trigger, trials of mana) inspired pixel art?
hi Dark Ansem,
It has built in SNES palette and with the right settings can produce something similar. But an algorithm will never be as good as a real artist :)
Anyway you can download the free version to play around, only if you want to make something serious and commercial you need the licensed version. GL!
