NERS offers a wholesome adventure experience suitable for children, designed for solo play or co-op play between parent and child.

Content

In terms of content, the game features minimal cartoonish blood effects, which can be disabled in the options menu. While encountering enemies is part of the gameplay, the level of violence is mild and can also be disabled for a completely non-violent experience, with enemies simply wandering around without hostility.

Goal

The game's objective is straightforward: follow the path to your grandma's house. In this journey players will encounter different enemies, treasure chests, magical wands, mounts, and various other things to interact with. In addition, there are some simple quests to complete along the way.

NERS encourages exploration, sparks imagination, and provides a delightful and relaxing experience for parents and children or among siblings.

Ages

Based on personal observation, a 3-year-old child can enjoy the game with parental guidance, while a 5-year-old, after learning the basics, can navigate and play on their own.

Educational Features

The game incorporates some math and English word-matching challenges to make it at least a little bit educational. 

If your child is too old or too young for that, you can disable this feature when starting a new game.

Controls

This game can be played with keyboard (WASD / Arrows) or Gamepads. Texts are very large and can be read from distance, so the game is suitable to be played on TV with gamepads.
